    I never did sit down to watch Sweeney Todd. Not for lack of interest, but the proper mood and opportunity never seem to coincide.

    Watch it Duskreign. I unlike our pink haired friend am not a Tim Burton fan, or Johnny Derp either, but that movie is just phenomenal.

    In fact, I'm pretty sure I have almost universally hated most of his movies.

    Let's see, I liked Beetlejuice and Batman, Mars Attacks, and Big Fish, and of course Sweeney Todd will be a fixture in my top 10 for a long time to come. Out of those five, Beetlejuice and Mars Attacks can hardly be called great cinema, though they were fun, Batman was awesome because I'm a nerd, (Then he mucked it up with the bad story in Batman Returns). Big Fish and Sweeney Todd were good though. Nay, Sweeney Todd was great. Easily (in my opinion) the best thing he's done.

    I know all the songs by heart. I've watched that over and over again. You need not be in a mood, it'll put you in one.

    When I read "Watch it Duskreign," I thought I was getting scolded for a second.

    Ed Wood was amazing too, JimTriche. Great work from both Depp and Burton in that film.

    Alright, alright. I added it to my Netfliz queue.

    I am a huge MST3k fan, so seeing how crap like that was someone's bread and butter... I guess that makes it _my_ thing.

    I can understand where you are coming from, though. I hated Akira. Having read the manga first, I resented how much got cut to make it fit into a movie format. For some people, it's just the best thing they ever saw. For me, it was as special as Tuesday.

    Hahaha, I loved Akira. Even cut up it was a spectacular film.

    Mystery Science Theater was one of my all time favorite shows too, also, have you looked into RiffTrax? They're great. The Star Trek (the reboot) one made soda shoot out of my nose. Attack of the Lens Flare.

    MST! Huzzah! I think, perhaps, one of my favorite lines, ever: "What is that noise? Does he have rice cakes in his shoes?" - Crow, referring to a werewolf "sneaking" up on someone, and clearly making way too much noise.

    So, (not to re-derail the thread, after it got re-railed to Cinema), I'm going to put together a compilation of the Apiestles for the Planescape Game I'm running - If you'd like a specific name for your Apiestle, please let me know!

    I adore Tim Burton movies.. I mean how can you not like his stop motion flicks.. they're awesome..

    I don't have a specific name in mind, though thehigh Priestess of Savory and The high Priest of Sweet should be two of them and I call dibs on high priestess :D
