@thaen would it be possible to add the Savage Rifts logo for a game, or do you think it's too much work on your plate what with separate Rifts and Savage Worlds logos already available? I just think it would look neat as an additional selection if it's possible.
Idk if this belongs in this thread or a separate feature request thread, but can't we just have the ability to add a system name and upload a small logo file? Might save y'all some work. Apologies if this question has came up and been answered before.
@Dropbeartots, done! Adding a new Game System is no trouble at all. Feel free to request whenever.
@seanbyram, thanks for the request! We have a backend admin form where we just enter the name, url for the game system, and upload a logo file, and the new Game System is added to the system. So, members can post those 3 things here to this thread as a forum post, and that would make it super easy for us to add them to the system. But as above, it's pretty simple even without that being provided.
Making that form public wouldn't really save us much work, as there are not that many requests to add a new Game System. And it would likely actually add more work.
The obvious piece of work is creating the public form that members could access.
But the less obvious piece is that we would then have to be on the lookout for spammers, and delete their entries. I can almost guarantee that within a few days there would be a "Game System" called "Dubai Escorts - 30 minutes or less" complete with a "logo" of a scantily clad woman. I've deleted Campaigns and accounts from them so many times now. And they're not unique in that.
It takes quite a bit of weeding to keep the weeds from taking over the garden.
