As mentioned in Update #9, articles are returning to the blog after way too long of a break. One such category of article is a rebranding of Thursday Feature, where I talk about what's on my mind in terms of tabletop gaming. Since the release schedule will be different this time around, the previous name had to be retired, and a new one created. So, I hope you'll enjoy my Tabletop Tidbits.
In this first article, I discuss how Gaunt Brad Pitt and the Slippery Slope can alter your campaign if you're not careful.
It looks like you're new here. If you want to get involved, click one of these buttons!

Loved the blog. This is so true. My "gaunt Brad Pitt" was a local noble named Lord Peyton. He was a patron for the characters and hired one of the PCs to tutor his son in sword play. Soon, when wanting to visit the man, they would say they want to go to "Peyton Place" and laughs would ensue. Every. Single. Time. his name came up.
BTW: I couldn't leave a comment on the blog itself. I received an "Access Denied" message from Securi (I think that's what it was called). Anyway, thought you should know.
Looking forward to more blogs!

Hey all, the time has come for another Tabletop Tidbit. This time, I'm discussing The Write-up Imbalance that is Brunkel's Room. So stop on by! Sorry to say that Brunkel won't be there, but hey, he never is (or was, whatever).

So, it's been a little bit now due to some scheduling conflicts, but I've finally gotten to add another Tabletop Tidbit to the blog. Today's article concerns Adding Perception Filters to Your GM Toolbox and the results that can come from putting them to use throughout the campaign. Hopefully people enjoy it.

That was a really great article, really enjoyed reading it. Something I'll likely be attempting to do more of in my games.

Campaigns: Dragon Age: Requiem
@alex_redeye, I'm really glad to hear you liked it. Generally speaking, my writings are aimed more towards provoking thought than trying to instruct, so this article was sort of stepping into territory I don't tread too often.

Well, you did a bang up job for stepping out of your comfort zone, that's for sure. I think generally speaking you've been doing a great job with everything you've taken on around here.

It's time once more for another Tabletop Tidbit. In this piece, I cover The Measure of Success in Relation to the Mental Movie, and the effects that can have on the success of a campaign.

A bit more time has passed than I originally intended to get this up, but my newest Tabletop Tidbit up now on the blog. In this one, I give an overview of the Dirty Cop - A Case Study of the Narrative Danger of a Hasty “Yes”. Hopefully, you all like it. I even made a meme (at least I think).
