So, I am presently looking for a bit of a suggestion regarding how I handle something on my Campaign Page that I don't think I am entirely satisfied with yet--the Front Page. First of all, the page does not feel entirely engaging to the viewer at present and I was wondering if any had any ideas on ways I could potentially go about spicing that up any further (what catches your eye on a Campaign Front Page).
Secondly, one of the items I use on the Front Page does not respond the way I was initially hoping it would. The Detail Boxes that hold the Game Details and Considerations for Players. I don't mind the formatting style used on the legal notice at the bottom of the page, but those other boxes do not feel like they should be designed in that manner. Just can't personally think of a reasonable alternative.
So, any suggestions that the community might have about this would be most appreciated.

I also agree with the video (a new addition since I originally posted this). I threw it into a container to help it be held within the page a bit better, but not sure what else to do with it to blend it to the Campaign better. Did you have any particular suggestions of what you were thinking of? I considered giving it some kind of border around it, similar to what I have on the legal box and player consideration box down on the page. Don't recall ever seeing that in practice though, and part of me thinks it might look a bit off to do that. My main concern is that for me a video doesn't feel like it blends with the site in general, but I don't want to not include it at the same time (and would like to consider adding other video later on).
Sorry to be so specific, just struggling a bit since the Front Page is the only one I didn't really have a vision of how I wanted it and am just having a bit of an issue visualizing anything that works for me. Regardless, I appreciate the feedback since it gives me another perspective as to what is not panning out on that page.
*EDIT:* Well, I have cobbled together a bit of a new design that I think should work out alright for the time being. I haven't tested it on mobile yet, and it may look a bit off on a larger display than what I am using, so it probably stands to have a little more work done on it but I think I have some semblance of a framework going on now. Thanks again for the suggestions and input!

For the HR, it definitely helps having those red ones there. You could also try to go more in style with the theme by trying something like what I have on my Theophage campaign:

For the HRs I was hoping to keep them a bit more toned down that what you have in place even, but I agree that the current setup was not quite cutting it still. I have adjusted the styling on it some more adding to the gradient and kicking in some fade out (also made it a little thicker). I think it looks better but I am still not entirely convinced either--may just have to buckle and shoot for something a little more elaborate.
Either way, your input has helped to shape up my Front Page considerably and for that I give you my utmost thanks. Any other feedback and suggestions always welcome, and welcome to my Credit and Acknowledgement page as well.

I guess my only real question for continued sprucing up on the front page: is the legal notice necessary on that page? Regardless, both the of borders around legal and consideration seems a bit too... bold for me.

As for the border, I assume by bold you are meaning that the border is too thick for your liking, well that I can very quickly fix up.

With regards to the legal notice, perhaps a wiki "Legal" and a "Legal Notice" link down there? Or maybe popup content? Not must does, by any stretch, just... ideas.

I'll probably refrain from the separate legal page, as the intent is to get it out there on the Front Page before people have to do any real digging into the site. I could probably reduce the font size on it, making it take up less space overall if you think that might be an improvement.

I totally get ya - wanting that out of the way up front, makes sense.
Ummm.. maybe drop shadows on the zooming images under 'Discover More'? I think I'm in love with that effect on square items...

I definitely think you're going to get a CotM this year.
OT: I think your front page looks great, but if there's one thing I'd like to see, it's having the left and right sides follow as you scroll down the page.

Over 300 Fans, and Looking for More!
Just trying to help out.
@Maesenko -- Hey, thanks very much - you are far too kind! Hadn't even considered the idea of getting CotM with the site, would certainly be an honor considering all the great work that has been featured throughout. I'm just happy to have the site rolling at this point, been very useful for maintaining some of the Campaign details I tend to lose track of normally. I love the idea of fixing the two sidebars - I think that will be the next thing that I look into here, would be most handy with the Nav menu specifically since some of my pages can get a little on the long side.
@killervp -- Editing you in here as well, you slipped in while I was typing out my reply. Thank you as well for the kind words, I must say that if it were not for this community the page would not be anything like it is right now (or at least would not have gotten there so quickly), and I certainly wouldn't have started working on the little fun side bits and bobs I have been able to roll out. Hopefully I can have somewhat of a positive impact here like many of you have.

Either way I still like having the menu on screen at all times. Once I get it all cleaned up I will expand it to work at any size where that menu is actually visible. I may then also apply that to the right side bar (not convinced on that and will have to see it in action, may be overkill to keep that side on screen in most instances). Thanks again though for the suggestion, it is certainly moving in the right direction.

By the by, I think you are really lucky to have a couple month hiatus on your game, Bort, would be nice to have the time to focus just on the page for a little while instead of having to work out plots and such as well. Maybe I will toss my group onto a small hold after we finish out the Origins section of the story.
