    I finally overhauled the campaign site for our 12+ year old D&D campaign so it works with the new site design. It took close to 100 hours of work since the relaunch. It was something I would not have chosen to do if I had the option of maintaining the old appearance, but the whole crew thinks it looks a lot better and is ultimately easier to update.

    If anyone has questions on how we did something, feel free to ask while it's fresh in mind.

    Thanks!

    The layout of Karameikos is spectacular. Great job. Too much to ask how you did certain things but I am still (as time allows) working on fixing the presentation after the portal upgrade. Would love to get away from the black font on white background default.

    Thanks! I had to get more knowledgeable about CSS to do it (thanks Wolfhound and Langy), and I would say 75% of my time was spent figuring out the CSS: What overrides what? What applies where? Another 15% was figuring out GIMP and finding better artwork, and the remaining 10% was content updating. Major props to my players for each of them writing a log for nearly every session since we started using OP.

    Off to run session #204, but if you want any CSS tips, I can send you my CSS file and explain a few things. I inserted notes by everything I modified so I would remember what did what the next time I looked at it, so it should be helpful.

    Thanks!

    @Odinn

    I grabbed this code from one of the fix it threads a couple weeks ago

    input[type=“text”], input[type=“email”], input[type=“password”], input[type=“tel”], textarea, textarea:focus, .campaign-settings #style-settings #custom-css-field {color:black !important;background-color:white !important;}

    You can change the background color and text color to pretty much what you want

    If you hover over the vertical gray bar on the right hand side of the screen, the favoriting stuff should appear :)

    Let me know if it doesn't, and I'll investigate.

    Congratulations to Tommy19 and his team for winning CotM with AGE OF DARKNESS.

    I HAVE seen this before but I hope someone puts a link on here so I can revisit it, as neither of the links on the interview seem to be working.
    Apologies that I cannot comment on the actual post. Continuing issues with this prevent me doing so, but I will take the time here to say thanks and that I really enjoyed the interview.

    I look forward to having another look at the campaign again in the near future!

    Thank you! We are super excited and a bit shocked since we just got started on this campaign. Thanks again to all of you who've been tirelessly pulling for us for so long. It's incredibly flattering to have so many folks with such amazing talent rooting for us.

    It really is a great honor, and we have constantly been flattered by the talent of the folks who encourage us here on the site. It really does help to dive us to go the extra mile when you know you have people following the story and the page. I think that is one of the good things about a community like this; it ups the level of quality all around through input, encouragement and general collaboration.

    Congratulations Davidnic and Madartiste

    It is absolutely fantastic to see "Greyhawk 937 Age of Steam":https://greyhawk-937-cy-the-age-of-steam.obsidianportal.com/ winning the award. I cannot make comments on the blog (some weird TECH thing that I can't work out) so I will comment here instead:
    Loved the interview - really love the idea of your "campaigning through different ages on the same realm" giving real meaning to HEROES of ANCIENT LORE.
    I also agree that the Pathfinder combat manouvers have added a cinematic flourish to combat.
    And I love your entry: "It is very social to share your dreams and stories. I try to remember this as a GM." A great philosophy!

    While we're at it, I have commented before on how excellent the moving gears are in the SITE NAVBAR! I also like your ticker tape info presented on the HOME PAGE. Man, that is a great idea and so brilliantly executed. Everyone should have a peek at this site. The design is so innovative. Apart from those things I mentioned, have a look at how good the PC page is. Each PC and NPC being a little folio pile (clipped together) that jumps out at you ever so slightly when hovered over. Such great stuff!

    And it was so good to read a bit about your personalities and how you play. All in all, a fantastic start to 2014!

    Thanks so much, Twiggy! If you want the code, just let me know. Some of it's a little complicated -- and the ticker tape is dang finicky for whatever reason -- but I'd be happy to share!

    Madartiste, thanks for the offer but, much as I love the look, I feel it is just TOO MODERN for Mysteria, and also "complicated" and "dang finicky" are no friends of mine!
