There is something I need to add and really express here.
I am truly honored to see my campaign win Campaign of the Year.
However, I could not have done it alone. Without my players and their wonderful characters, Shadows would have gone no where.
I've said that a few times already, but it needed to be said again, as does this.
Shadows would be nothing without the Obsidian Portal Community, with a few people in particular.
Wolfhound was an inspirations. From his Dresden: Dallas site, to his tutorials, to his assistance. I never would have know where to start without his help.
KillerVP, who diligently reviews Campaign after Campaign in the Review Topic. His criticism and advice pointed out flaws and issues I never even saw, and helped me polish my site. And then he goes and runs Plot Club, where I ran so many campaign ideas by my fellow GMs and fleshed out all the things I've thrown at my players.
PhoenixMark, who allowed me to steal his Character Sheets from his Sactown Blues campaign. It makes my site so much better than it was.
HumAnnoyd, who generously allowed me to utilize the Dresden Parchment graphic. This might sound like a small thing, but I utilize it in a ton of places throughout my site.
And then there are all of those who have followed my campaign and commented on it. There are far too many to name you all, but I would like to thank each and every one of you for your support.
I am so very proud that you guys all chose Shadows for Campaign of the Year, and hope it continues to entertain

Congratulations on your winning CoTM and thanks for the interview. I really love the interviews of CotM because not only does it help us to get to know EACH OTHER better but it also helps us to understand the ideas behind the sites that we often just get a brief glimpse of really….
From your interview, I love the fact that the only reference to your part of the world is a brief mention on a couple of pages. That means you can use the wealth of the setting while still doing your own thing and not worrying too much about how it all fits in with the rest of the world. The “Gondolin” reference helped me to understand where you are going with the whole thing.
I also enjoyed reading your experience of opening that RED BOX on your birthday in 1981. I had the same feeling in 1982 although I had to buy mine myself. The influences of FRPG and fantasy novels have been as important to me as it seems to you. And thanks for mentioning that most important of OP community communication: THE COMMENTS!
As a final thing, I would like to add that I loved the link to the GALVAN NECROPOLIS video. What a great video, and once again, congratulations on your magnificent site. I’m sure all players involved are having a whale of a time.

Congratulations to RobJustice and his team for winning CoTM with "Gotham Reborn":https://gotham-nights.obsidianportal.com/ . Anyone with a cat called Dr Girlfriend will surely have something to offer in his interview and Rob doesn't disappoint. I fully support his comments on sites having standard landmarks, making it easier for others to read and navigate through. I also think that this is one of the things that the REFORGE has helped with. The Gotham Games seem like a whole load of fun and the pearls of wisdom of GM talking to players and vice versa is always something worth repeating!

Thank you all! It is very much appreciated, and we're all _thrilled_ that we were chosen! As cliche as it possibly sounds, it really is all thanks to this community. This community has not only given us so much inspiration in the form of so many clever, awesome and well-done campaigns; but in being so supportive and active that it makes us _want_ to do better. You've all made working on the site for the campaign about as much fun as working on the actual campaign itself!
So truly, thank you all again, and it's certainly an honor.
