    Hey Wolf

That IS better. Very cool, that lighting up/colour changing idea!

So I'm experimenting with rollover buttons, trying to leverage this 'wizard font' HumAnnoyd told me about.

So anyway, groupthink feedback requested. :)

I changed the background color on several of the buttons to experiment. If you've got an opinion pro/con, and could list which one(s) you like/hate that would be helpful. (just reference the button by its text)

The idea of the light up runes is a sound one, but the current buttons are a bit "busy". Maybe tone it down some.
    All the best,

Whelp. I'm never too old to learn things I guess. After reviewing my Google Analytics for the DFD campaign, I've (after over a year) changed the main landing page somewhat.

    "Dresden Files Dallas":http://www.obsidianportal.com/campaigns/dfd

Hopefully it's a bit more engaging and lets you know, a) it's still active and b) gives a hint about what's going on. I seem to only hold folks on the landing page for a minute 45 seconds. Hopefully with a teaser about the most recent adventure it'll do a bit better at retention.

Incorporating Kallak's feedback as well as my player feedback for a "less busy" return to our "old books" wiki button.

I like the new button format, light up accent border thing is much better. Still get a nice rollover without getting that national lampoon's xmas lights feeling.

Ok, the number one request/IM/email I am getting is how I do my rollover buttons. So rather than keep retyping this... here you all go. Feel free to use/abuse it as you see fit.

After a pause of several months (due to the holidays plus the arrival of 2 kids... a boy for a couple of our players, and a girl for another) we're back to playing again.

Postgame for Adventure 2.3 - "That is not my name":http://www.obsidianportal.com/campaigns/dfd - hooked up to our new "preview" style homepage ( as well as our "latest updates":http://www.obsidianportal.com/campaign/dfd/wikis/latest and the "adventure log":http://www.obsidianportal.com/campaign/dfd/adventure-log pages as usual. )

    Thanks. :)

Ok, I finally had time to do a full site art optimization. The selected art resources were 2.5 meg before, now they're 600kb ... so the site should load a lot faster.

I am slowly responding to messages as I get to them, I hope to be able to put all the CSS questions in a tutorial 6 sometime "soon" (TM)

I am so happy to have found your wonderful campaign. I thoroughly enjoyed reading yours and your players logs and stories. The site is overwhelmingly impressive, and I look forward to following the antics down in Dallas in the future.\

Wonderful! I know I can safely speak for my players in saying we're happy to entertain (that's ultimately why we put so much of it online)

Postgame for game 2.4 is up as well as a new intro movie for or "Season Two" (not as happy with Windows 7's version of Movie Maker... but it'll do)

And now for something completely different...

"Dresden Files: Dallas ... the musical.":http://www.obsidianportal.com/campaign/dfd/wikis/dallas-soundtrack

Just a collection of some of the songs about my city ... some of them have had more influence than they probably should on various plots.

Gunfire, Korean gangsters wearing Ogre skin armor, and an explosion in a suburb of DFW... not your typical Good Friday night in Dallas.

Heh, having some fun with CSS today. Something one of our players did, that got compelled into a complication, would certainly warrant front page news....

    Thanks to you, both!
