Hello from Nicole from "Tuesdays with Nicole"
May 2010
The mouse tablet I use for all my stuff is a pretty cheapo one. It's a Genius brand... I think it's the 8" x 6" version, which you can find pretty easily for about $50. I would really like to upgrade to a bigger tablet when I get a chance, because 8…

Hello from Nicole from "Tuesdays with Nicole"
May 2010
"What kind of art do you like to make?" I used to be a prolific sketcher, mostly in a more comic/cartoony style. I have recently been trying to get back in the saddle while simultaneously shifting to work more in a digital format. I have done …

Music in your game
May 2010
I recommend picking up anything by Apocalyptica. Nothing beats metal covered by four people on cellos for battle scenes. The Donnie Darko Soundtrack is good for exploring caves. I use the LOTR soundtracks as sort of standbys if I can't think of …

Scheduling Issues?
May 2010
That looks pretty cool and I definitely feel you about scheduling issues. For play night decisions I think Doodle would be very effective. Unfortunately, my group also has a dinner element to each game night and rotating play locations, so there are…

Hey, that's Swanky! I like it! So, would you break out an individual page for each day or month? It looks kind of small to fill in in its current format

@ hardhead Another option you might want to consider for working around the lack of a calendar feature is to create a calendar in a Google Docs spreadsheet and link between your campaign and the sheet. That's what I do. Go to "this page":http:…

Internal Borders on Tables
May 2010
Another little FYI: The same thing goes for altering the text size in your tables. Oddly enough, you can alter the font in the initial table attributes, but to change it's size, you have to code the adjustment into each cell.

Bah... Morrin... Sorry. I misread your original post. No, OP does not support adding text to those tabs... but I agree, that would be really cool!

Internal Borders on Tables
May 2010
There is, but it's a bit obnoxious. basically, you have to plug the textile code into each individual cell. It's one of the limitations of the markup format. If you want to do it, it works like so... table{border:1px solid black}. |{border:1p…

@ Morrinn: OP already allows the speech-bubble style identifiers on maps. It works on mine. @ Hardhead: The zoom level issue has been brought up in several other past threads. Micah gives a detailed explanation of why they have the current limita…

FACEPALM!: Learning from your mistakes

First Campaign as a DM not a PC
May 2010
edited May 2010
Be sure to give your NPCs and even your 1 shot bad guys personality. This will make them more than just a hard to pronounce name for the players. I know in my campaign, my players will refer to the Drow sheriff they met in Fenwatch, or the ugly guar…

Hello from Nicole from "Tuesdays with Nicole"

Artwork Copyright Question
