Hey everyone. I'm having trouble understanding how this site works, but maybe that's because I'm overthinking things. Anyways, I mostly played D&D in the past and I wouldn't mind getting into those sorts of games, but I'm also fairly open to new games. Other than that, the only really interesting thing about me is that I can solve a rubik's cube in less than 20 seconds. If you wanna check me out, my youtube channel, "marthaurion0":http://www.youtube.com/user/marthaurion0 , has some vids of me solving. They're not fake, I promise!

    Welcome, Marthaurion!

This site is many things to many people, but from the looks of it, what you're after is a game to join and play in. Am I right?

"This link takes you to a list, compiled by Kenurion, of PbP (or Play-by-Post) games that are looking for players.":http://www.obsidianportal.com/campaigns/compendium-of-pbp-on-line-campaigns

If you are looking for a game in your area, you can go to the Maps tab on the main Obsidian Portal page. From there, you can opt to search only for campaigns that are looking for players. You should be able to find a few campaigns that are close enough to at least consider playing. If not, you can always fall back on the PbP option. Several DMs have recently posted here in the forums, seeking players.

I checked out one of your videos, and I have to say I am very impressed!

Hey Marthaurion! Welcome to the most magical place on earth! This place has incredible potential, and a great community - they're more helpful than an intelligent llama on speed!

It takes me 10 minutes to solve a Rubik's Cube. It also takes a hair dryer and a sharp knife and a delicate touch not to rip the stickers.

That slowly, Jim? I got it down to a minute using similar methods, but I keep a supply of those stickers on-hand simple overpasting. :)

There's an entire speedcubing community silently crying inside at these comments...

Rase, exactly how helpful would an intelligent llama on speed be, anyway? I'm not sure, but I think pretty unhelpful.

Well, true, that statement may have been setting the bar far too low for our helpfulness-scale. Although it gives us some leeway on our "off" days (Heretoforwith known as Piedays - not to be confused with Fridays.) But I suppose it all depends on what you're asking the llama to help with.

The speedcubing community has more patience and analytical prowess than I do marthaurion. I solved a cube ONCE when I was 14 or so, took me three days. And my sister decided it was prettier mixed up and I never got to even show anyone.

    It was a traumatic time.

Also, seeing the Pokemon videos on your "YouTube":http://www.youtube.com/user/marthaurion0 page makes me feel better at this recent addiction I have come into. I just saved the Slowpokes from getting their tails cut off in HeartGold.

...wait, there's more Pokemon now? Life was so much simpler when it was Red and Blue...

Welcome to OP Marthaurion. It looks like Duskreign has taken care of the actual helping part of greeting a new member, so I'm not going to offer you any advice at this time.

I've always found alpacas to be more helpful than llamas, but considering where I get my paychecks, I might be biased (pie-ased?).

Yeah, I still play Pokemon, sorta...I'm just extremely lazy and never feel like uploading a new battle.
