Problem with Bulleted Lists in Safari

My wiki home page is laid out in two columns, with image headers and bullets. Everything looks fine in IE and Firefox, but on Safari the first bullet below the header in each group is always aligned to the right.

My campaign site is in beta/building mode so I've had it private, but I've made it public if anyone would care to give the wiki a look and help me sort out a solution. It's not a deal-breaker, but it's bothersome.

Here's a screenshot of how it looks in Safari:

Thanks!

    So I have no idea why it's doing that in Safari, but I wanted to say that your site is looking pretty awesome, and looks like you're going to be putting a lot of detail into it, which is great :).

    Thanks gaaran. I wouldn't have got anywhere if it wasn't for all the good advice here in the forums and by looking at some of the nice campaigns (such as yours) for inspiration. We're still formative and much work to do, but I appreciate the compliment.

    Could you post the code you're using? My best guess is that the image header may be interfering and pushing the first bullet off to the far side of the column... but I'm totally pulling that out of my tuckus.

    Yeah, looking at the code, I am almost positive that the error is caused by the textile shorthand. I can't test this at work, because I don't have Safari here, but my first recommendation is to try enclosing the headers in their own like so.

    Instead of:

    !(media-item-align-left)http://cdn.obsidianportal.com/assets/13927/head_history.gif(Head history)!
    * [[Lost Age]]
    * [[Age of Darkness]]
    * [[Age of Renewal]]
    * [[Modern Age]]

    Try:

    !(media-item-align-left)http://cdn.obsidianportal.com/assets/13927/head_history.gif(Head history)!

    * [[Lost Age]]
    * [[Age of Darkness]]
    * [[Age of Renewal]]
    * [[Modern Age]]

    Let me know if this works.

    Thanks much for the suggestion, Gnunn. That doesn't seem to do the trick, though it was a good idea. I implemented the code on the first category on the wiki main page, but it looks the same in Safari as the others.

    I may just need to get over it. It certainly doesn't inhibit use of the page, but it's just a bit irksome when I've been deliberate about the layout.
