Replacement of Specific Text with a symbol
The following two links are on my Star Trek Adventures campign:

The text appears next to some of the characters with [D[. This indicates that the character/NPC has died. I am wanting to replace it with this:.png)
I found the symbol in a Google Font found here:
https://fonts.google.com/icons
Any assistance would be appreciated.

This is possible with tags, but I don't think it's possible via the character title itself unless you want to write a new chunk of CSS for every character that dies, and even then the [D] would still be visible in the title bar since it's part of the title.
Tags though, that works.

Keep in mind that the graphic there is being housed on my test site, you will want to use your own url (feel free to just download the image in that link) in case I purge it later.

I should have specified, this applies the image to every character that is tagged with [D], without having to update the CSS each time.

Thanks for this (and sorry for the late reply). I can't seem to get it to work. What about as an Icon next to the Twitter and Facebook Icons that appear on each character?

This is an example character with the Tag [D] added
Your CSS has an errant semicolon, shown below.
Delete that, should work after doing so.

Thank you for the correction. I have been using the Tags and replacing them with icons.
