I'm sure this has been answered but I'm having trouble finding it. Is there any way to make something so only a GM can edit BUT players can see all non GM only information?
I don't really want my PCs to be able to edit NPCs or wiki pages, just their own characters. But poking around, it seems like the only way to stop them is to make it GM only (in which case they can't see the page at all) or to set it so only GM/Co GM/Page owner can edit, which seems like the solution except it states if you select that, then nobody else can view biography, description, etc. I don't want that at all, I want the PCs to see the description and biography, I just don't want them to be able to edit and change things.
Is there really no way to prevent non GMs from editing pages they aren't owners of without blocking them from seeing most info? Or am I missing something? Thank you!

Hi @kylelitke!
If you have yourself set as the owner at the bottom of the "Edit Character" page, it should restrict the non-GMs from editing the pages and still allow players to see all of the non-GM content. Can you check to see if this is behaving as expected for you? If not, I'll bring this question to the devs!
Roll with advantage,

Thank you! I just tested it and it does not seem to be working for me; I have a character that I have set to myself as the owner, but we tested it with one of my other players and he was able to fully edit the character even though I'm set as the owner.
You can use CSS to hide the edit button for non-gm campaign members, but that has the drawback of hiding it on every page unless you get creative.
