Reviewing this site as a potential host for our PbP Campaign.
Hi everyone,
We are new to Obsidian Portal and are refugees from the Tavern-Keeper.com Pbp hosting site, which the owner is shutting down. Our campaign has been running for over four years on Tavern Keeper, and we estimate it may take a further six years to complete. So, we are looking for a hosting site that can match as many of the features we currently use on Tavern Keeper, and the easiest way to check is just to try it out.
I've set up the campaign, and four of our players have already joined.

None of us has used this site before, so it's a case of the blind leading the blind at the moment.

I'm going to be looking at how to set-up our character sheets today as we don;t use any of the pre-set systems. We use a Homebrew System bhased looselyon WFRP 1e with additions from 2e and 4e.
So, I need to recreate a character sheet with an Attribute based Stat Line, list of Skills and a series of containers.holding stored inventory.

I've been fiddling with the Campaign System Settings today to try and establish a a Character Sheet template suitable for my game.

I discovered a setting for 'Warhammer 1e' which is the original system I based my homebrew on and set it to that.
But it doesn;t seem to have been registered by the Character Creation tool which still says I haven't selected a system.
How do I create a character sheet for a Homebrew Campaign on this site?

After reviewing the error, it does appear that it reads you have selected a system; however, there are no DST's (Dynamic Character Sheets) available/created yet for it - so they will not appear. You and crew are welcome to submit them to us for approval and use! Until then, you can try alternatives to upload the Character Sheet information, such as, linking a scan of a Character Sheet or linking a sheet from something like DnD Beyond.
Also, I saw that you were still navigating the site - this is our Help page for things like tutortials! :o)
