Hey everyone! Just getting things set up here. I am a D&D'er from 2nd ed. My wife and I played 3.5 for awhile and now we are starting up a homebrew "lone wolf" 4th ed. campaign. I will be DM'ing and my wife is going to be the sole PC. (She will be getting assists from NPC's and her beast companion). If anyone has some tips or ideas for this "solo" campaign, I'd love to hear them.

edit: Next to nothing there yet but here is the campaign: http://www.obsidianportal.com/campaign/8933

Will you be using the "rpg":http://index.rpg.net/display-entry.phtml?mainid=3052 or just the "game book novels":http://index.rpg.net/display-series.phtml?seriesid=616&nomaster=1 for inspiration?

I didn't mean the actual Lone Wolf game (didn't even know it existed)...it was more of a generic term as in she will be playing as the only player character.
We will be using the 4th ed. (D&D) core rule books, I just need to modify some things in order for her to play the only PC. I don't cotton to the published adventures so well, prefer to write my own. In fact we begin our campaign playing the Kobold Manor adventure at the end of the DMG and three rooms into I decided I really didn't want to DM _and_ control the rest of my wife's party, nor did she like the idea of running 4-5 PCs. The only D&D novels I have ever read are the older Dragonlance titles....
