Change Nav Bar on Campaign Pages
I want to change the navigation bar on the non-public campaign pages (front page, forums, calendar, etc.). I have the following CSS to change the background color:
.campaign-dashboard-layout #dashboard-main-nav { background: #dec98a }
I want to also change the color of the non-highlighted (read active page) icon and text in the navigation bar to white. This will make it easier to read and match better with the public version of the navigation bar.
How do I update the color of the icons and text that doesn't override the "highlight" color of the active page.

Working on this now, may take a few minutes.
Update: This is harder than it looks. I've isolated what you need to code to do the opposite of what you are asking. If you used that code to change the active to the color you want it to be and change everything else through the normal settings that would work but it's clunky.Still working on it.
Update #2: Huh. Can't change the backend through normal settings, so that actually doesn't work. The best part is that as far as I can tell the code that I'm writing should work and the site is just straight up ignoring it, even when I use the !important tag. I can even change them all to individually different colors but the highlight for the active page just vanishes.
Still working on it.
Update #3: Got it, answer is in the next post (because the edit feature lacks the code block insert).

Thank you for figuring this out. With this information, I was able to get the 2 different types of sidebars looking similar to each other.
OK that looks cool.
However I have a sorta different issue. Need to move the Dashboard over to the left more than it currently is. Any ideas or thoughts on how to proceed?
Your selector looks like it would be: .campaign-dashboard-layout #dashboard-main-nav ul li a {
Padding-Left looks like it may work, don't have time to test currently.
