It looks like they have to set up an account first. In the campaign I made, invites were going to the Inbox on their Obsidian account, not to their email.
The issue here is there should be emails generated also from the account to alert them of said account alert. It's been an on and off again issue for a few years. Hardest hit are yahoo email accounts that even when fixes get applied and everyone else is woking, there are yahoo emails that need to have individual fixes applied to.
