The co-founder of Obsidian Portal, "Ryan":http://www.obsidianportal.com/profile/ryan, has recently been caught up in the fires raging in San Diego. Last we talked, he's doing OK, and his house is still untouched. He and his wife were evacuated, but have been allowed to return to their house for the time being. Still, they have everything packed and are ready to leave at a moment's notice.
Behind the scenes, Ryan's done a lot for this community, and I never would have gotten this far without him. So, he could definitely use our support right now. Please take a moment to give him some words of encouragement. He might not be able to read them for a while, but I'm sure he'll appreciate it. For anyone else in the San Diego area, our thoughts are with you. May you all roll 20s on any upcoming saving throws.
Also, if you'd like to help out, send a few gp to the following charities:

Thank you everyone for your kind words. Fortunately our house was spared from the fires and we were able to move back into our house on Wednesday. We have cleaned all of the ash out of our house that somehow managed to maneuver through our doors and windows and blanked everything within our house. Just when things were looking up this week I was cut off by an guy in an SUV and had to put my motorcycle down. Fortunately I was wearing most of my armor and was only going about 30/35 mph so I have minor scrapes and bruises; however, I can't say the same for the bike. Unfortunately that means that there probably won't be very many updates in OP until my hand is back up to full typing capabilities. :)

I've been a vicious GM on occasion, but *this* fire is just outrageously over-the-top.
Here's hoping for the best for you and yours. Thankfully the winds died down allowing for the firefighters to be able to do their work.
Thanks again!
