I'm sure this has been asked before. But I've just spent 15 minutes searching the forums to no avail.
I'm not using the WYSIWG editor.
How do I add in spacing?
Everytime I put more than one space next to each other the site just eats them up.
Surely there's an easy way to do this that I'm just not getting...
It's not just this site that eats the spaces. It's a quirk of HTML. More than one space gets ignored. The easiest, most surefire way to force a space, is to use the non-breaking space ascii code. Inserting this into your text will force 1 space for each time you enter the code.
The indenting works, but only at the start of a paragraph, it doesn't work in the middle of a line for example.
The space code works, but makes a real mess of the edit page.
What I ended up using instead was the table command, separating the elements with a | inserts the elements into a table.
The webpage Rick mentioned http://www.hobix.com/textile/ has the full syntax.

Here's the code:
Each one of those equals 1 space.

I'm itching to try it out.
