So this is what the bottom navigation block looks "like":https://www.instagram.com/p/BATO5hntbuK/
Because the light gold blends into the white/beige background, it becomes invisible.
I plan to change it to black text on white, which will not require any CSS workarounds, to make it more useful.
Any other preferred colors?
Ideally we want it to be somewhat consistent with the template's color palette.

This'll be changed sometime next week after the server maintenance / site outage scheduled for Mon 2-4am PST.
Post your suggestions/feedback below.
Off-beat / slight off-topic comments are also welcome.
Suggestions of candyfloss pink, puke yellow will be ignored. #SorryNotSorry

Any colour that makes it more legible, I guess.

I think blue links interspersed with regular text is ok. A solid block of blue links (14 links) could be a little fugly and overpowering.
Although, I think users should come first so fugly, but functional, useful, should win out.
I'll commission that as a tech task and see if we can get it out by the end of this week (Jan 15/16).
We may come to some middle ground compromise if there's a strong protest otherwise.
Also, I've noted that a number don't like "Community" as it isn't as easy an association as "Forums".
We'll also change the language from "Community" to "Forums" (unless anyone is threatening to throw themselves from the belfry).
There's some linguistic debate about whether it should be "Forum" because this is a single forum, nothing's threaded so it looks like one big convo. Or is it "Forums" because we're aggregating a series of smaller sub-forum/sub-discussion areas?
The URL is "forums.obsidianportal.com", so I'm not quite ready to rock the boat, so we'll go with "Forums". If this might cause you to throw yourself on your vorpal blade, please speak up.
Else, I'm aiming for Jan 15/16 completion and unless the rebels/resistance blows up starkiller base, we should be on track.

PS: A number have called for "Forums" to appear in the top nav bar (where "Welcome (your username), (your photo), envelope icon, campaigns" appear), so I'll see about shortening the "Search..." field and squeezing "Forums" in there too."
We'll death match "Forums appearing at the top nav bar and bottom nav block and finger of death one of them, or keep both.
So, as in regards to changing this things color scheme, I dont really care as I've never even used it much less taken much notice of it

As for the "Community" vs "Forums" thing...Forums all the way. And keep the 's'.
Direct link to these forums in the nav bar would be nice, but I'd rather it be in the dropdown menu (Profile, Ascendant status, etc.) rather than crammed in the main bar.
