One of the features that I liked during my brief visit here as a player a couple years ago was that the campaign we were in had its own forum where the players and GM could discuss different topics. I would think those would also have worked for a Play-by-Post (PbP) campaign, but when I look at currently running campaigns I can't see any that are running that way (maybe because as a non-player I can't see their forums?).
Our main interest in using Obsidian Portal for this campaign would be to store and organize campaign stuff for our face-to-face games, but we have one player who is only able to be here occasionally (less during the school year), two former players now in the Army, various friends who live elsewhere but might want to play, so we want to be flexible to try some other things, maybe as a parallel campaign in the same world, or just different PC group in same campaign, either using PbP or Skype or some other tools.
TL;DR: Do individual campaigns still have their own player forums, and are these suitable for Play-by-Post?

An unfortunate change during the upgrade.

Some possibilities that handle emailing of roll results:
"RPG Library's Secure Dice":http://www.rpglibrary.org/software/securedice/ (handles FATE dice!)
"PBE Games Dice Roller":http://www.pbegames.com/roller/
"Red Dragon Inn Dice Roller":http://www.rdinn.com/dice_roller.php
"Evil DM Dice":http://dice.evildm.net/
"DED's Dice Roller":http://www.dedzone.net/traveller/dice.html
@Basileus: In my current PbP (SBRD campaign at Citizens of the Imperium) I have just taken the position of trusting my players to roll dice at home and post results. Or they have the alternative of trusting me as GM and not posting any die rolls to go with their actions, in which case I just roll all the dice myself and tell them results, which sometimes makes for smoother storytelling, but I sometimes feel that we lose something by having the players only write their speech and intended actions, with me writing all of the results.
(OTOH, as a player in someone else's game there, I recently ran into an annoyance in character generation as another player had "rolled" some really unlikely high beginning stats. Would have preferred to see those out in the open using the forum die-roller (which we do have).)
When I get the time I go back and edit for error,s and fix tense/case issues so it reads like a proper story.

I've actually put in a ticket with OP to request the ability to toggle public privacy on the forums, not sure when they'll implement...
In the meantime, any interested players need only be invited to the campaign to view the game in progress in the forum.
And similar to SkidAce, I then copy/paste/edit the game from the forum to the adventure log posts as a sort of episodic recap.

"Hey guys... sorry to be the bearer of bad news but unfortunately public facing forums aren't really feasible at this time. It would add a pretty high level of complexity "behind the scenes" that we can't really implement right now.
At some point in the future we might revisit the idea but for now it isn't possible."
Perhaps the forums were too much of a load on their server. I notice my campaigns with lots of forum play load a lot slower than the ones that just hold info/wiki pages.
