Validate your CSS!!!
If you are having trouble with your CSS, or think you might be and aren't sure, validate your CSS! Actually, if you are using CSS at all and aren't noticing any errors, validate it anyway! :P
"W3C CSS Validation Service":http://jigsaw.w3.org/css-validator/#validate_by_input+with_options
Make sure to copy/paste your custom CSS directly into the "Direct Input" option - otherwise you will get a bunch of errors from OP's CSS.
If you do have errors returned, you can either address them yourself or at least share them with the community here when requesting help. Should help with troubleshooting.
Also, if your CSS validates without errors, you can be more assured that everything is functioning correctly and is compatible across browsers.
