I submit for your perusal an excellent example of what can be done post-reforge, but still have lots of customization, Thorvaldr's great "Tyellador":https://tyellador.obsidianportal.com/
Beautiful sidebar, good adventure logs, and an amazing character page- love those shields!

Meagoinc and I started Tyellador as a homebrewed world when looking at other D&D settings which had forest, desert, mountains, grassland and water within 50 miles of each other in a patchwork quilt, and we wanted to make a setting that had more natural looking biomes and topography. Thanks to Meagoinc's knowledge of all that is medieval, she found sources for authentic sounding town names, and, grouping them somewhat by area, built histories for them. (So some of the areas have a Welsh influence, some have more of an Old English influence, some are Norse and Icelandic, and some have a Berber/Amazigh influence. She would have gone wilder, but then I put a two-syllable limit on things.)
We started thinking that with a good setting, the story will help tell itself. And although we've been on break from the main campaign for a couple of months while Meagoinc is studying in England, we have had some sessions that take place a couple of hundred years past in Tyellador run by one of our players. We hope to post more new things soon!
And thank you all again!

Just trying to help out.
Not only is the site beautiful and informative, Thorvaldr and his team have gone out of their way to put up tutorials for the assistance of everyone. That always wins my vote.
And the site belongs among the Campaigns of the Month.

I hope to 'pay homage too *ahem* [[lets not say 'steal' or 'rip off' shall we?]] your character shields in the near future as well :)
Congratulations Thorvaldr, Meagoinc and co. A well deserved win and a great interview too. Such detail about your creation process and very informative.
I have left some further notes in your site.
Thanks for all you have done and keep having a great time continuing to do what you do.

And to all those "paying homage" to Tyellador, I'm glad! Tyellador has only gotten to where it is because I have paid homage to those who paid homage to titans who made and refined their campaigns long before I even knew of Obsidian Portal. Names that I have only heard mentioned in revered whispers, from long-ago when the world was still cooling and there was no site-wide CSS, before time had coalesced yet the year was 2010... I may have lost where I was going with this.
But yes! I actually need to update some of my tutorials... like the character pages. I've changed my code since I wrote that, as it is now the shields will "smoosh" as you change the browser window size, I now have it so they simply rearrange. Hopefully I'll get to that this week. I'll let you know, but I do look forward to seeing your sites! Definitely send me a link when you're ready. :)

A very fine and worthy addition to the COTM club.
And again thanks for helping me work out the coding issues with my site. (now if there were only 40 hours in a day...)

I'm jealous of your gaming group. :P
@Basileus- They're a good group. The booze helps. ...and then hinders. And then I don't know what happens after that. But usually the following morning some retconning. ("Yeah, I guess I didn't threaten to kill the noble and everyone he loves...") But we usually get in a good 4-5 hours of gaming before that point! :D
And I said I needed to update some tutorials, and I did! The "Custom Characters Page":https://tyellador.obsidianportal.com/wikis/custom-characters-page tutorial is now new and improved. Before the character portraits would squish as you resized your browser window. Now they'll simply reorder themselves. Also I tried to remove as many "!important" tags as I could.
One problem I still seem to be having is that if the code is cut and pasted from my wiki into someone's CSS box... which I now realize is a CSS thing, and will be "posted there":http://forums.obsidianportal.com/comments.php?DiscussionID=2637&page=14#Comment_30086. Quick summary: apostrophes are obnoxious.

edit: because of my improper use of an apostrophe in the word apostrophes. Don't think that's _technically_ ironic as I was talking about apostrophes as a coding tool as opposed to a grammar tool... but too close to not correct it. :P
