  When I create a GM-only NPC, they show up as visible to anyone from my profile. I can go to my profile page (http://www.obsidianportal.com/profile/VirgilVansant) without being logged in, and the GM-only NPC Iron Indian was visible. When I went to the NPC Tracker for the campaign (http://www.obsidianportal.com/campaign/leftfield/npc-tracker), he was not visible. If I log in and return to the NPC Tracker, then he shows up properly as a GM-only PC.

  Unclick "publish", and that pesky problem should disappear.

  This is a relic of our original idea for OP as an online database for characters (and items, spells, monsters, etc...). The visibility controls are kind of arcane and hard to understand.
  
  We're trying to come up with a comprehensive solution for this that will be a little more intuitive, without completely changing how everything works (and causing lots of "huh? this didn't work like this yesterday!")
