Paragraphs not showing up

I did a search with the keyword "paragraph" and nothing came up.

I'm trying to edit an adventure log from a few weeks ago, and I can't get the log to do paragraphs. I mean, it seems to work as I'm writing, but when I hit preview or submit, the paragraphs go away and the log ends up as just one long rambling paragraph post. None of my other adventure logs have this issue, before or after the date of the log I'm trying to edit.

This is with either using the enter key or the paragraph button (p.).

A little help?

    Try:

    bc.

    It's an HTML line break.

That's weird. Can you link that log? I'd like to see what the issue is.

    Thank you; that worked.

An odd side note; when I use that, it changed the spacing between the lines for each subsequent paragraph. So my first paragraph has normal spacing between each line, and every other paragraph looks like it has 1.5 spacing. I tried to see if putting a BR line break before the first paragraph would help, but it did not.

I'm fine with it, it just seems odd that it would do this.

    Langy,

Here's the link as it is fixed. If you want, I can remove the BR's and the other edits I made to fix the issue so you can see the original problem.

I see the issue; the textile parser ignores line breaks if you include a space at the beginning of every line of text.

No, I have no idea why it does that. It's silly, but that's how it works.

To fix it without using that
hack, just remove the spaces at the start of every line.
