    Er, no, not logging in won't mean you can see something restricted to campaign members only. It means the opposite. Unless you were referring to something else entirely?

    Well, its an "In Planning" campaign, so there isn't much to speak of as far as content, but I think I've got the general visual style pretty much repaired on "Outremer":https://outremer.obsidianportal.com/ (Front Page) and "Outremer Wiki":https://outremer.obsidianportal.com/wikis/main-page

    The Front Page looks a little busy, even after I removed some of the new elements I didn't like, but I must admit that I like the potential for customization in the Reforged campaigns. A lot could be accomplished with just site options and some very basic CSS.

    Luckily I hadn't done much with that campaign yet. I'm not looking forward to tackling my more developed fantasy campaign.

    @Langy: I was assuming we were talking about setting something to visible to everyone _but_ campaign-members. So, secrets from anyone in the actual campaign, and for the greater Obsidian Portal audience. ...which sounded like a weird thing to do when I first read it. :P NOW I think I actually get the point of it. I can get there eventually, sometimes I just need a little more time.

    @Basileus: Terrific! I'm loving the glow effects you added to the side menu, really suits your campaign.

    Now, is it just me, or are people with modern-day or futuristic campaigns getting their sites back up and running more quickly than those with medieval/historical-ish campaigns. _I_ think the reforge was settingly biased towards those in the future. :P

    But seriously, Langy, saethone and Basileus, those are all looking great.

    @madartiste: You got it looking just like old! Ahhh, the good old days. Very nice job! Love the whole book-theme. Maybe this is just me, because I am a _complete_ whore for transparency, but I'd transparentize the background behind your book. Then you'd have a book floating in space!

    @Bondoid: I love the active horizontal menu bar. I'm really considering putting something like that in my campaign... but I just haven't figured out an aesthetically pleasing way (for my campaign) to do so as of yet...

    @KillverVP: That's starting to look familiar! Is your top navigation bar done through CSS, or is it individually added to each page?

    I'm impressed with how quickly so many people are getting their sites back on track after such a significant overhaul of the site!

    Well, barring a few tweaks of adventure logs and characters once I actually have a couple and see how they function better, I think "Age of Worms":https://ageofworms-ap.obsidianportal.com/ is back to its original self (ie pretty but totally incomplete and with a lot of stuff I've changed my mind on and need to go back in and strip out...).

    Don't think I have anything particularly fancy in there, but let me know if you want the code for anything.

    Savannah- A code page for your entire site- Worms has always been unique- have sent people there to inspect elements for ages....
    @ Thorvaldr- Old fashioned added to every page for the nav bar- It was on every page during the last upgrade as well. Will go all CSS next campaign, but this is 2 1/2 years into a 5 year campaign- too much invested to change. Takes as long to delete on every page as it does to paste 3 new position lines, so might as well.

    Funny you say it's unique, given that I basically copied all of Wolfhound's tutorials when I was learning, then decided which things to keep and changed their colors :P

    That being said, here you go: "complete CSS for Age of Worms":https://ageofworms-ap.obsidianportal.com/wikis/site-code

    Oh dear... that's weird!

    This will get rid of it entirely:

    bc. #campaign-nav {display:none;}

    You might want to try messing with some widths... maybe something like this?

    bc. .collapsable-nav-row .front-nav-container{width:13%;}

    ...or setting a width of #campaign-nav?

    Hope that helps!

    Whoo hoo! They added classes to the navbar li!

    I had to rework my code, but no more nth-child nonsense.

    I updated my code page here: "Rise of Asmodeus CSS":https://greyhawk-636-cy-the-rise-of-asmodeus.obsidianportal.com/wikis/rise-of-asmodeus-reforged-css

    I put in how to change the text for links and how to swap the navbar links for images.

    @Thorvaldr: I thought of doing that but the actual book image doesn't have a transparent background. I just never got around to removing it. I might now, though. That sounds like a really great idea.

    EDIT: Whoops. Fixed some stuff

    Maybe it's just me Mad, but there' s gap between the bottom of the banner and the top of the nav bar images. Maybe 20 pixels or so.

    EDIT: Hm, apparently it's just that one page, so yeah.

    @Kallak, which page? Oh! That might've been when I was fussing with my page code! I thought something was broken so I commented a bunch of stuff out. Turned it was just a dumb mistake on my part.

    There's a fantasy one that's more or less done as far as styling goes. That's the new campaign I was referring to in my other post. Not much in flavor images and the content is still incomplete but you get the idea

    @madartiste - Below I am trying to get the nav bar working in CSS to go Horizontal across the top. One I have just the basic navbar working then I can direct background images to make it function.

    "REGNUM":https://regnum.obsidianportal.com/

    Change the Text on the Nav Bar Links
    /Change Link Names/
    /remove current text/
    #campaign-nav .adventure-log .nav-text {font-size:0;}
    #campaign-nav .wiki .nav-text {font-size:0;}
    #campaign-nav .characters .nav-text {font-size:0;}
    #campaign-nav .items .nav-text {font-size:0;}

    /add new text/
    #campaign-nav .adventure-log a:after {content:“Journals”;}
    #campaign-nav .wiki a:after {content:“Watch Reports”;}
    #campaign-nav .characters a:after {content:“Heroes & Villains”;}
    #campaign-nav .items a:after {content:“Gear”;}

    Make the Nav Bar Horizontal
    /Horizontal Navigation Bar/
    /Extra space for Links/
    .nav-links li a {margin-right:15px;}

    /Change Dimensions and Position of Nav Bar/
    #campaign-nav {width:100%;
    height:38px;
    position:relative;
    }

    /Remove Background Color from Nav Bar/
    .campaign-public-layout #campaign-nav {
    background-color:transparent;
    }

    /Move Nav Bar Up/
    .collapsable-nav-row .front-nav-container {
    width:100%;
    top:-30px;
    background-repeat:no-repeat;}

    /Float Nav Bar to Make it Horizontal/
    #campaign-nav ul li {display:inline;float:left;}

    /Remove Triangle after Active Page Link/
    .campaign-public-layout #campaign-nav li.active:after {
    content: none;}

    Horizontal Nav Bar with Background Graphics Instead of Text
    Keep in mind that the dimensions are purely what I am using for my graphics, so yours will be different.

    /NAVIGATION BAR/

    /Change Height of Links/
    .campaign-public-layout #campaign-nav li a {
    height:68px;
    }

    /Remove Link Text and Add Image/
    #campaign-nav .dashboard a {
    font-size: 0;
    width: 132px;
    height: 68px;
    background-image: url(http://Your.URL/Image.jpg);

    @Az_Rune: I responded in the other thread you posted. I must've missed something when I was trying to clean up the code I posted, so sorry about that! My code is kind of a mess at the moment since I'm still cobbling things together.

    EDIT: If you want to keep the text in the links AND add background images, you'll need to remove the font-size:0 from the individual link styles. You've got both the section for changing the text in the links and the part that completely removes the current link text and replaces them with backgrounds only.

    Been hard at restoring Shadows to it's Pre-Reforge Glory, and, 16+ hours of work later, we're almost there.

    All pages, except the Adventure Logs, have been fixed/made readable.

    Adventure Logs are being worked on, starting with the most recent log and working backwards. Still have a campaign to run after all

    Character Sheets are back to their former resplendence

    Comments page is down. OP removed it for some reason and so, for the forseen future, that will remain a broken link.

    Still some minor tweaking/clean up needed over the entire site, but we're up and functional.

    Nope. Shadows is still minimalist on CSS. Old School Div for the menu on every page. And I may have to go modify it if the comments page does not come back.

    My CSS skills are next to nil. I was working on other campaigns before the reforging by borrowing CSS from you experts, but, well, that's all out the window.

    @madartiste: If you want to post or link your book image, I'd be more than happy to transparentize the background for you. It'd take me about 5 minutes in GIMP (...I _really_ love the transparentizizing... >.>)

    @ Savannah: Looks like you have everything up and running nicely! I don't know if it's your color scheme... or how your theme works, but your banner is the least intimidating once I've seen since the reforge (my own included). The reforge usually feels like it's punching me in the face with the banner. :P

    @saethone: I love how you pushed the nav bar over to the side, where it belongs. I might have to do that as well, it really seems to help bring the focus to your main area.

    @HumAnnoyd: I think I'm most impressed with your adventure logs, probably because I've avoiding working on mine like the plague. Your site's really looking good!

    @Keryth987: Your top horizontal nav bar makes it so much easier to navigate through your site. I'm really going to have to figure out how to put mine back in... I've also always loved your postcard theme for your locations.

    @SkidAce: I love the glow-effect you have on mouse-over for your wiki. You have a really nice and compact table of contents there, works out very well.

    So I am trying to put a background image (or color) under the right side navbar and so I pulled this from Madartiste's code. I think it's his. For some reason it's not working. Anything I am doing wrong?

    I've tried multiple images thinking they were too big. Pretty much a CSS newb. I can pick through code and kind of common sense it out but that's about it.

    /STYLE RIGHT SIDEBAR/
    /change font/
    #sidebar {font-family: Montaga;}

    /add background/
    #sidebar .sidebar-party-members, .sidebar-last-updated, #sidebar .sidebar-quick-stats, #sidebar fan-counter-container, #sidebar .stream-module-container, #sidebar .adventure-log-index-filter {background-image: url(http://Your.Image.Url/image.jpg),
    url(http://Your.Image.Url/image.jpg),
    url(http://Your.Image.Url/image.jpg);
    background-position:center top, center bottom, center top;
    background-repeat:no-repeat, no-repeat, repeat-y;
    border-style:none;
    background-color:transparent;
    padding:5px;}
