Send to multiple recipients on Private Messages

Hi, maybe I'm missing it, but it doesn't appear that we can send private message to more than one recipient at a time. Two of our party is away from the group and the DM is sending those two characters info about it.

This would be a nice feature. If only adding a comma between recipient names. A contacts list of friends to draw from would be nice, too.

Also a separate suggestion would be previous and next buttons to go back and forth between messages currently being viewed.

Thanks,

Justin

I'll second this - it'd be very useful.

Wow, I didn't even notice that you couldn't send to multiple recipients. That blows.

Has this been implemented yet? Please!! Tired of sending one message at a time to everyone in my group.

So this is still not an option? Wow. Then I bring unto the thread the Eleventh vote for yes.

For that matter, it would be nice if it auto-completed when I was trying to type the address of whomever I was trying to message.

TWELFTHEDEDEDED. Or, is there a way to have "Private" Forum messages. We roleplay through our forums, and there are lots of times when threads are really only meant for a portion of the group.

I'm not 100% sure but I think if you ask your players NOT to tick the "Receive all Forum Notifications" and then tick the boxes of those you want to send to, you might be able to achieve this. If anyone has tried this and found that I am wrong, please let BruthaB know.

That is absolutely correct Twiggyleaf, and it is not very difficult, imho.

    Just trying to help out.

There is not currently a way to have "Private" Forum messages. Even if you uncheck names for the notifications on a forum post (or your players do NOT tick the "Receive all Forum Notifications" box), it just means that those not checked do not get an e-mail saying there is an updated thread. If they visit the forums though, they can still view the posts. The only "private" feature currently available is the PM system, and as stated, it is limited to one-to-one messages.

I have requested a way to create private forums for forum roleplaying. Micah mentioned it was worth looking in to at some point, but is not on the plate for now. Perhaps after the reforging is completed and things are running smoothly, we can revisit the idea. In the meantime, maybe being able to PM multiple individuals would be a nice stopgap (I have no idea how difficult that would actually be to program).

...and I also take your point, Viehmagnat. Gosh, the more we get, the more we want....
