Greetings from a fantasy homebrew GM

Hello all Obsidianers,

Just signed up for the trial period of the Obsidian upgraded version. I'd love to make this the home of the homebrew, heroic-fantasy campaign I share with several gamers here in the Netherlands.
I know that forum rules ask not to put bug reports here, but I'd just like to sound out if the following seems familiar: each time I try to upload a fairly large text block into the wiki, the site crashes on me (stuck at 96% upload). I'm asking for feedback because atm, this is looking like a deal breaker to me.
(I know that I could break up the multi-page document into smaller sections, but my intent is to start off my campaign wiki with a "player info pack" that is essentially a big wiki entry. I do want to keep it that way... in a later phase, I would want to divvy up information into bite-sized chunks).

    Hello JLC,

Are you uploading or copying and pasting?

As someone who has done some pretty large wiki-pages himself; I have found that about 400 lines of text is the most you want to copy and paste into the wiki at one time. You can repeat that until you get to around 1200 lines or so after that the wiki-page starts having real trouble saving the material and anything more than 2000 lines will not save.

    Hi there JLC,

I'm afraid I don't know what the issue is (but perhaps Leonidas300's comments are helpful to you), however I just wanted to say welcome to the Portal.

    Cheers,

    Welcome to the other side.

I tend to use a larger number of small entries, so I haven't run into a problem with uploading text - there is a reporting procedure for bugs, and it does get looked at.
