Campaign Calendar

I would like to see a feature that allowed the DM to create or modify a calendar to create a Game World calendar (or possibly 2 or 3 for different cultures) that could be used in game.

What it would look like: a calendar, with the ability to change/enter month/day names, edit number of months/days, and include lunar cycles, as well as festivals, celebrations, and Diety related events and celebrations.

    If anybody is still paying attention to this thread, I built this feature using the Obsidian Portal API. It setups a wiki page with a game world calendar that you can customize. Forgotten Realms, Greyhawk, Golarion and Real World calendars are supported. Go to "http://tools.lostpapyr.us":http://tools.lostpapyr.us to check it out.

    Shammond's Calendar Tool is pretty sweet - very well done - If I may be so bold to make a suggestion - If you add a 0 to days 1-9 the page appears much more congruent.

    In any case I would highly reccommend this to anyone who would like a campaign calendar without having to do a bunch of work.

    Can you customize beyond a standard 12 month calendar with it? I've already used it to create an FR calendar for one game but what I really need it to be able to recreate the old Olven Calendar for my central campaign.

    Hi there,

    The tools has fairly limited customizability right now. You can pick a game world and a year. What people who need more customizability have done is create a calendar from the world that is closest to what they want, then edit the wiki page to customize the calendar. Worst case, I've saved you the tedium of creating all of those tables.
