When editing a page I sometimes find it useful to compare the considered change against the previous version, and a lot of these times I find the previous version better than the considered change, in which case I want to be able to easily revert the change. While Ctrl+Z is great for achieving this most of the time; it seems that the relevant memory is erased as soon as the page is previewed (not saved).
It might be easiest just to ensure that the relevant memory persists even through a page preview, but one alternative is to add a [Undo All Changes] or [Reset Changes] feature, so that one can just go back to the original without cancelling and reopening the edit page. Note that this is a separate idea from the page rollback feature requested elsewhere, in which a page could be reverted to a previously saved version.
