I would like to add a buton (or .jpg) that when clicked on by a campaign member, or outside gamer it directs them to a particular wiki page. I have seen this in a few of the top rated campaigns, but I cant seem to get it set up. Can someone help me out?
I think this would require using actual HTML rather than the Textile markup. At least, that's immediately how I thought to do it.
Also, you'll need to have stored that .jpg someplace online, like with Photobucket or something. I'm sorry if that seems obvious, but I'm starting from the very beginning, and I don't know what you do or don't know, and OP doesn't currently allow for graphic storage other than maps.
Make note of the URLs for the wiki page and the .jpg, then type the following, eliminating the spaces padding out the angle brackets:
!http://where it is/image name.jpg!:http://where you want to link to/
I've used it here http://www.obsidianportal.com/campaign/savage-tide/wiki/campaign-web/the-sea-wyvern so that when you click on the image of the sea wyvern it links to a larger version offsite, but you could have the link go to an internal wiki page.
Using it for buttons is a clever idea, I might have to try that myself.
More formating options are on the Advanced Wiki page http://hobix.com/textile/quick.html
