A personal plea for your help
Greeting friends,
I know that we usually stick to RPG related topics and I hope you do not mind me bringing something like this to the forums but extraordinary circumstances compel me to speak to you all here in this way. I am a grad student at UC Davis. As many of you might have heard on the news and seen videos of there was an incident yesterday afternoon on campus which I and countless others witnessed where students peacefully sitting on the ground with their arms interlinked were maliciously pepper sprayed. These are my friends and fellow students. One of my friends even received a boot to the face. None of this was necessary.
I urge you to call on the chancellor of UC Davis, who called out the 50+ police in riot gear over a few tents on the public lawn, to resign immediately. She sent out a letter to all UC Davis students and faculty last night speaking in passive voice and absolving herself of all responsibility, which only adds insult to injury. This incident has rocked the campus, the community, and is going viral across the country and even the world. Please show your support and tell your friends. This is too big to be ignored.

The Chancellor is going to meet our General Assembly tomorrow and its looking like a few thousand people might show up - over 3500 confirmed just on facebook. I don't know how she'll keep her job if news crews get footage of a huge crowd of thousands all chanting "Resign". Shes been trying to snake her way out of responsibility by stating blatant lies, contradictions, and scapegoating, but I don't think that could be ignored.

She's told the press today she's not stepping down. That just means it's going be even more sweet to see her get the boot.

nightstorm: I have a few videos of the speeches I am working on uploading. I will let you know when I have them all up. We missed a few of the speakers in the beginning, but got quite of few of them.
Hopefully the outrage continues.
