I was thinking a way of attaching thumb-nails (seeing html is limited I would have used links to pics normaly to save site bandwidth). I am very visual and I like to use character art to convey ideas of menace/alignment/style without being predictive. You can have art that cries out "he looks like a proud lawful knight"- if you say it there are interpretations- "what do you mean looks like", if you say "a proud lawful knight stands before you" the players get picky when he turns out to be a chaotic blackguard. If you show them art, they decide how much weight they place on appearance. My 2 cents. I will use another site to display it if needed but even if you can have 200x200 jpegs that would be enough. Having the image capacity would make this my "goto" site :)
We're working on adding images, but file storage is a whole different animal. We want to get it right the first time, or as right as is possible ;)
Until then, "Textile":http://hobix.com/textile/ formatting allows for embedding images. I haven't experimented much with it, but it should work for blog posts and character descriptions.
Hmm, let me see right now. Can I get a picture to appear?
Yep, looks like it works. Just enclose the image URL with exclamation points (!) and it will automatically load the image. Please be judicious with this (ie. no porn) so we don't have to turn it off.
Note: Textile formatting is enabled for: blog posts, wiki pages, character bio, character description, and the forums. I can't remember if there other places.

Tell me what you think.
it would be nice to click on a thumnail and see a full-sized image, but I'm guessing that's a space/storage issue?
