How to link to items

I don't know why I can't figure this out, but how do I make a wiki link to an item? All the other categories have menus for this, or you can just type in their slug name surrounded by double brackets, but it doesn't seem to work for items.

    Ah, yes... this is why people like myself are moving everything to wiki pages....Happy to have that discussion offline, but the short answer is yes... there are workarounds, but the bottom line is you are correct.

    If you want to link an item you have to a. Make sure the item is in the campaign you're running and b. Treat it as if it were a character slug.

    So you would have:

    [[:item name | item text]]

    Though I agree with KVP about making everything into a wiki page as it helps simplify things like tagging and such.

    Any chance that items can show up in menu like characters and wiki pages to make inserting them much more simple?

    Part of the Reforge is making the characters, wiki, and item pages more integrated!
