Black V I will be certain to post it when the time comes but it will be some time off. As you saw, I am planning a Star Trek campaign though we might run 7th Sea as a holodeck novel using that system for time spend on the holodeck. It holds many possibilities.

    Thanks once again, everyone.

I just got back from a three-day backpacking trip to the Sierra Nevada, and believe it or not, I actualy took my little notebook with me to work on stuff for the campaign - now I have to find time to get it all into the wiki.

bq. I like that a campaign I follow gets some spotlight.

I know what you mean, *rats* - I'm the first 'fan' of "_Honour Among Thieves_":http://www.obsidianportal.com/campaigns/honour-among-thieves and I was pleased to see it selected as Campaign of the Month. It's like, "I know, right?!"

    Thanks again, all.

Now if we could only get _Le Ballet de l'Acier_ on the homepage we'd be in business (hint, hint admins).

    Cheers,

well it appears our host may have gotten behind on updating. We should give them a break and allow them to skip a month to get caught up. Have no september campagin and just let Le Ballet de l

HurstGM has the right of it. Every campaign of the month deserve to have such accolades known not just by those who follow the blog or the forums, but by those who stop first on the homepage, or those who seek the best and the brightest on the campaigns page.

I just suggested this same thing to Jerry directly... If you two, Dusk & Hurst, would do the same it would help.

Jerry (aka "DreadGazeebo") is the "content director":http://www.obsidianportal.com/about for the Portal. I believe that he is the one doing the CotMs these days. I'm not sure if this is something that he can delegate or not but Hurst you can always shoot him a line and see what he thinks.

Also, I'm on board with skipping the September CotM in favor of giving _Le Ballet de l

I actually sent Jerry a private message about this as soon as I saw killervp's request earlier today. Hopefully, he'll see the wisdom of this consensus and herald Black Vulmea's campaign as it deserves to be.

yea i know how annoying it can be to get 6 or 7 copies of the same basically polite email. Or more sometimes. I figure if two of us have contacted him thats enough. Remeber we have been talking about this for a while so we should give him some time to catch up.

_Le Ballet de l'Acier_ now shows on the front page as the featured campaign, but not on the Campaigns page - does that make the glass half-full or half-empty?

    Thanks for your support, everyone.

I see I'm too late to join in the voices of support for putting you up on the front page, but in this case that is actually good news because it means that you're on the front page now Mike. Congrats again dude. It is a well deserved honor for a fine campaign. Lets hope they keep you up for September, its only fair.

Half empty in my book... I agree that it should run all the way in September as well.
As Arsheesh and Black will attest, I sent an email about this to Jerry & Micah... If someone else can send an email about the Campaigns issue, I would appreciate it... I still have not won yet, and don't want to anger the powers that be too much.

Yup. It's past time for it to be up there, and I say this as the guy who's campaign is still there from last month. At first I figured it was just delayed by a couple weeks - they didn't get Sins up until the middle of the month last month - but it's well past that, and they _did_ get all the spots updated at the same time last time. Something seems off.

    Also, congratulations!

Also, forgot to mention this above but. During the blog overhaul, I reorganized the way in which some things are arranged internally. This in turn broke the way CotM was being pulled into the front page on op.com, however I was unknowing of this at the time. It wasn't until after gencon that it was brought to my attention and we fixed it as promptly as possible thereafter.

DG, remember always the value of delegation. There are many loyal and capable folks here who would be willing to help with some site housekeeping while you're busy with the convention season.

    Just keep it in mind.
