how to move character between campaigns

Hi,
just started (DMing) a new campaign and one of my players created a character, but under a previous campaign i had run (before i had set up my current campaign page).
is there any way of moving the character (short of deleting and remaking)to my new campaign?

    Can't you just copy and paste all the information over? Shouldn't take too long. :>

    I don't know this for sure, but here's my thinking: Since a character can only be a PC in one campaign at a time, but characters are tied to their creators' accounts, I think if you as the GM go and kick the player out of the old campaign, it'll free up the character to be part of the new campaign.
