HexIron
Hello!
Im Hex-Iron and im both new to OP and D&D with only a few games as PC under my belt and my first campaign as DM coming in two weeks (althoug about 2 years of planning has gone into this game). It is set in Nentir Vale and running through the starter campaign, to get the equally new to D&D players custom with 4e, and moving up into Hammerfast with help from the Hammerfast campaign guide. Hopefully I can weave my ideas in and get better, but hey, have to start someplace. Anyway, friend me and feel free to give me tips, i want all the help I can get, starting with this "NPC Help":http://forums.obsidianportal.com/comments.php?DiscussionID=1839&page=1#Item_3
Thanks everyone!

It is rare to meet someone who is new to both OP and D&D! Wow, you lucky Dude! You get a double dint. I had a momentary glance at your site and my first advice is make all your organisation start from the Wiki Page - not from the Home Page - use the Home Page as your PR page. I know I made this mistake when I started and it is a lot of moving around of info that is not welcome when you are just beginning.
More people will give you more advice later, so i will just say "WELCOME" right now. Enjoy the experience.

I agree with my two good mates here. First, like Twiggyleaf mentioned, it is better to keep the wiki stuff for the wiki page and to use the Home Page as a campaign teaser for new visitors to your site. Second, while I'm a bit busy just now, at some point I'd like to get to your questions about NPCs. For now I'll just say hello and how do you do though, But like Dusk said, feel free to ask any of us for advice, usually there are some people here that would be happy to lend a hand.
Cheers,
