Hello everyone. I am new to Obsidian Portal and so far I love it. But here is my question, what are the different memberships? Right now I am a Acendant and it says that next billing cycle will be in December. I haven't signed up for any membership that I know of. Does this mean that after this timeframe is up, I wont be able to do all the things that I can do now? I tried to search around the site to figure this out but came up empty handed. Any help here would be great. Thank you!

I believe that new accounts have a 1 months acendant membership. After that, you can choose to continue or revert back to a free account. If you choose not to stay acendant, yes, you will lose some of the functionality of the account. It isn't much of a loss, but I have found that the perks for being an acendant are well worth the small amount if you can afford it.

Hey there Ransolot. Right now there are only two memberships, Free and Ascendant. You can read more about the difference between these two in "this thread":http://forums.obsidianportal.com/comments.php?DiscussionID=291&page=1#Item_9. To answer your question, if you do not renew your Ascendant membership then I believe you do lose all of the benefits of that membership. So for instance, you cannot create any new forum posts or new campaigns and maps if doing so would exceed your Free Membership limitations (you are limited to 2 campaigns and 1 map per campaign with a free membership). However you do not lose any prior campaigns, forum posts, maps etc. that you created under Ascendant membership. Hope that helps.

    Cheers,
