Howdy from Lincoln, Nebraska. I've been gaming since 1996 (I only remember that because it was the year I graduated highschool!) starting with 2nd edition D&D. I typically play 2nd edition in the Dark Sun campaign setting, but have also played 3rd edition and some of the whitewolf games as well, most notably Vampire and Mage.

I have a nice core group of 3 - 5 players, but we are always looking for more if any are in the area! Some of the 3 would like to occasionally break away from the other two for some serious roleplaying.

Welcome! It's always heartening to see people who appreciate the Dark Sun campaign. Do you use the "original boxed set":http://index.rpg.net/display-entry.phtml?mainid=1079&editionid=1195 or the "revised boxed set":http://index.rpg.net/display-entry.phtml?mainid=1079&editionid=8249 (with "streamlined" psionics and updated storyline)?

We use a little of both. Our storyline is before the original boxed set... so Tyr isn't quite so bad, its not overthrown yet. Not so bad... thats funny to say, its still a terrible place. :P Most of what we use from the revision is weapons. We don't use the "streamlined" psionics!
