I went back to some older pages, and when I tried to use the footnote anchors they all now point to "http://www.obsidianportal.com/#fn1" or "http://www.obsidianportal.com/#fn2" et cetera. These footnote anchors worked fine throughout 2008.
This occurs in Windows XP for both Firefox 3.0.4 and IE 6.0.2900.2180.xpsp_sp2_gdr.080814-1233 versions.
Here's a partial list of pages with broken footnote anchors:
http://www.obsidianportal.com/campaign/the-legion-of-centicles/wikis/faq
http://www.obsidianportal.com/campaign/the-legion-of-centicles/wikis/ruggedness
http://www.obsidianportal.com/campaign/the-legion-of-centicles/wikis/sample-pc
http://www.obsidianportal.com/campaign/the-legion-of-centicles/wikis/savage-bard-spell-list
http://www.obsidianportal.com/campaign/the-legion-of-centicles/wikis/psionic-craftsman
http://www.obsidianportal.com/campaign/the-legion-of-centicles/wikis/campaign-skills-feats-and-character-concepts
http://www.obsidianportal.com/campaign/the-legion-of-centicles/wikis/leprechaun
http://www.obsidianportal.com/campaign/the-legion-of-centicles/wikis/witch
I'm not really seeing the problem, can you explain in more detail? I can't find any links to “http://www.obsidianportal.com/#fn1” or “http://www.obsidianportal.com/#fn2”
Footnote anchors are Textile hyperlinks links within a single wiki page. As an example, lets look at http://www.obsidianportal.com/campaign/the-legion-of-centicles/wikis/witch
The first line of the page looks like:
h4. Witch[1] Base Class.
You'll note that the footnote formats correctly as a superscript link. However, the link no longer goes to its anchor near the bottom of the page:
fn1. "_Dungeon Master's Guide_":http://www.wizards.com/default.asp?x=products/dndcore/177520000 p. 175
These footnote anchors worked last year. Now, they don't work in any campaigns. I hope this example is illustrative enough.
