Storing data without editing

Is it possible to modify the character backing data without editing? This would be for temporary things like wounds/wound status, fatigue, etc.

If not is a faux pas to use the browser storage?

I haven't really dug into the DST coding myself yet, but similar to the other discussion about an editable field on the Item page, we've considered adding a way to update a single DST field, without having to Edit the Character.  Would that work for what you're wanting?

If you used browser storage, you might want to give a "heads up" to the GM/Player that the data would only be available on that computer/phone/tablet, and wouldn't be available on other devices.

yeah that would be amazing actually. Perfect use case updating wounds, mana, ammo
