1- set the correct game type (Dnd 3.5, exalted, whatever), save, then go to your character area and if available, chose a pre-made character DST sheet and form fill, and save.
2- if the ruleset isn't listEd or there isn't a DST for it(they are user created/maintained) you'll have to either hand code a sheet, just fill in plain text data, or you can make a file elsewhere, make it a picture file, then upload and just use that as the chapter sheet.
PS- nearly all the regular users revert the editor back to the older version(under settings) as the current one doesn't do coding very well.
