So when I check this box it limits the icons of the menu to simply ... except for the Wiki, whose Icon shows up. I would love to leave it with just the icons and not the text.

 

Is this an issue with my browser or is this an issue with that feature?

I'm guessing you are using Chrome.

The ... only seems to show up on Chrome.

You could look at making your own icons like I did.
