Why Does YouTube Embedding Not Work?

I click the button, paste the URL, the code goes into the character sheet, I click save... and... Nothing. What gives?

I would not count on using the YouTube embedding. There have been many problems with it over the past year or so. It breaks, gets fixed, breaks gets fixed, over and over again. The last time it broke, 6 months or so ago, it was reported but no response from the developer(s) or support. Your best bet is to put a screen capture of the YouTube video you want to embed as an image tag, then link to the YouTube video that way.

That is what I have gone to doing. I believe, though have not tried, you can upload the video to your media files and link it from there, but I'm just doing it via the image to YouTube video link as I stated above.
