Modal Images

Hi OP community! Been awhile, but I'm doing okay. How are you?

But enough small talk. Doing some page updates and I said to myself, "Self, your images should pop up in new windows when you click them. And, also, if you click the picture in the pop-up window, then it takes you to the link if the picture is linked to another page."

I feel like I've seen this done on OP, but I can't recall where.

Any help, and by help I mean, please just tell me what the code is, will be paid forward. Thanks all, and by all I probably mean c-greg (cause he da man). :)

PS: Am I missing the search function for this forum?

@jim mount, on your search function question, it is on the left side of the icons in the top right underneath your name- it is greyscaled.

There is a "switch" in this line of code that changes it from in the same window to modal, but i cant remember what it is.  Might get you started.
