Removal of Social Media Buttons

Is there anyway to disable the new social media buttons on the character page? I really don't want to use them. I respect that they might be a feature others are happy about, but they are awful to me. They really take away from the look of the page. I couldn't find anything in the settings to disable them, but I might not have looked hard enough. Any help would be appreciated! Thank you!

Under Settings > Advanced, there is a checkbox for "Hide Social Share Buttons". Check that, then hit Save.

EDIT: Oh, I see you said on the character page specifically. Since you are Ascendant, you can add this to your CSS:
