Well hello!

edited January 2016 in Player Lounge
Hi! My name is Math, and I very recently deceided to join this website, after many failed attempt to organise my enormous collection of world building note for my current (multi-team) campain.

About myself... I am an industrial design lady student, and I am currently the DM of two diffent group of D&D that are simultaneously playing in the same universe at the same time, wich should grant me an award of some kind to keep everything coherant enought.

As you can see, my campain is all in french, since me and my player are all french canadians. I might make a huge traduction one day, but I'm still trying to transfer aroud 50 pages of manuscript into this website soo.. that will have to wait quite a bite. Also, since english is not my first language, please excuse my mistake. If you happen to understand french (?!), then you can see that our campain is higly humour based, with a big accent on homebrew and RP. We also have an equal number of demale and male player in both group, wich is just a pure joy to me.

Aside from that... I am a classic geek, who read comics, watch manga, do Larping in the summer, play d&d in my free time and is an actual classic arts nerds. My dad was a cinema critic, my mom is a literature teacher, both were geek before it was even a thing and raised me in front of a Nintendo 64. I cannot remember the first time I saw star wars because my dad used to watch it with me when I was a baby and having insomnia, and my bed time story for most of my childhood was LoTR and The Hobbits. So yeah. I'm a realky freaking huge geek.

Wow I wrote a lot. Sorry for rambling souch!

Pas de problème, Mahaut. Et bienvenue à OP.

Sorry for my horrible attempt at remembering French from high school, it's not even Canadian at that.

    But all the same, welcome!

Welcome!! In awe about running two teams in the same campaign at the same time!

Once ran a sidequel campaign... so sometimes the players would hear on the news about events that were the result of my previous campaign, or sometimes they went on missions that ended up setting up events that had already happened in the other campaign... it was... a lot of work, but at least was only dealing with one group of players with minds of their own at one time.

Hello! One of my players is french (belgium though, not french canadian) as well. And working on two campaigns at the same time is always a dream of mine, but i don't think I'd ever be able to do, so I'm quite impressed.

    Bienvenu Mahaut!

    - Translation:
    Mahaut Welcome !
I am from Montreal , so I understand the problem of translating games!
At the table, we are almost completely bilingual, but my native language is English (come you can see with my french ca ;)) , so my campaign is in English.
What's the url for your campaign?

Please, share a link to your site. Even if it is in French be nice to see what you've got going on there

Also, please, take a look around at what others have going on, maybe even favorite a few.

Most of all, have fun and enjoy yourself
