Better Main Page Wiki link organisation

The links to other wiki entries on the Main Page is now getting so long (as in it scrolls down quite far) as to be unwieldy. I've tried tables with multiple columns but can't get them to look anything other than awkward, clumsy and ugly. I need help figuring out a way to organise the links more efficiently so that players aren't forced to scroll down a long list of entries.

My current format is:

h3. Title

[[Wiki Entry Link Name]]
[[Wiki Entry Link Name]]
[[Wiki Entry Link Name]]
[[Wiki Entry Link Name]]

h3. Next Title

[[Wiki Entry Link Name]]
[[Wiki Entry Link Name]]
[[Wiki Entry Link Name]]

etc.

I group them into categories, and make separate wiki pages for those categories. So the front page has 10 or so categories (say cities), then each category has several items (list of cities) and each city page might have several links off of it (list of shops).

Yeah, the problem then is that it increases the amount of clicks to find things and you constantly have to click back and forth on top of that.

Perhaps. Some people solve that issue by making custom menus in their wiki. I found excessive clicking doesn't happen, nor do I need a wiki menu. I do extensively tag my wiki posts, I just use the search box at the top, super fast.

I do similar to Bort on my primary Campaign, and I will be doing something along those lines on my new Campaign I will also be running. You can check out my page if you like, and I'd be happy to explain my setup.
