The Only Sheet?

So, I happened across a website called "TOS+ (The Only Sheet)":http://www.theonlysheet.com/ which advertises itself as an excel spreadsheet designed to help character management for 3.5 and pathfinder. I've been using another spreadsheet called HeroForge.

Does anyone have any experience with TOS+ they can share?

I use TOS+, however I can't compare it to heroforge since I've never used it and I only use TOS+ for pathfinder.

There is a demo version of TOS that gives a decent showing of how the application works using core rules only

What the TOS demo is missing is all the add ons that make TOS shine.

The addons are downloadable free from the TOS forum, but you need a forum subscription to download the add ons. Each character only uses the addons for that character. Basically the addons are race addons (from the advanced races book) and class/archetypes (from various other books), or template addons.

I've mostly used TOS+ for main NPCs and villians and that's where the stats page is really useful as a printout as opposed to the full character sheet printout that my wife uses for her PCs.

Neither of us have used the laptop character sheet screen of TOS+ since neither of us use a laptop at the gaming table.

I haven't run into something the sheet can't handle yet, but i've only been using it for 2 months.

I've been playing with the demo version, and the biggest standout is that it doesn't ask about feats for characters, and therefore doesn't add those into calculations. Do you know if the full version does do this?

The demo does also.

There are are 8 tabs on the bottom welcome,control, front, back, laptop, XP, Stats, Customize

Once you enter your character's race. The control tab shows everything missing from your character under the status box.

Feats are entered on the Back tab (along with gear). The feats are near the bottom of the Back sheet and they do get calculated into your character. Some feats require some additional info entered such as weapon spec (you need to select the weapon in the customized sheet, the control page status box reminds you about this)

Slick, thanks. Better calculations than Heroforge, but not quite as customizable. May have to purchase the full version!

Any specific customizations you looking for in the full version? I might be able to tell you if they exist.

For example, all the race specific customization are available in the form of free addons in the full version, same with the various archetype. You can also create you own addons using his addon tool.

I really haven't tried out all the customizations available (or really played around with the self customization), but so far no regrets with the program.

I went ahead and threw down for it - having all the magic items auto-calculate makes it worth it, imo. So far, no complaints, been able to figure it out with your help - thanks for that!
