Hide the flash of unstyled text (FOUT)

When using a custom font (typekit in my case), the text of the site flashes unstyled before the typekit loads.

Adobe's own javascript:
@
try{Typekit.load();}catch(e){}@

is supposed to hide the flash of unstyled text (FOUT) by blocking rendering while loading. Quoting from the typekit website: "This standard embed code takes advantage of the fact that tags block further rendering of the page to help prevent the FOUT. While the Typekit script is loading, rendering of the page is blocked, so text won’t start to render with fallback fonts. Most browsers do a good job of hiding the FOUT by default, and any remaining issues can be controlled using font events once the script has finished loading and executing." I know that OP doesn't support custom javascript in CSS, but is there a another way to hide FOUT in OP? Like "Font Events":http://help.typekit.com/customer/portal/articles/6852

    I didn't even know this was something I could ask for! If this turns out to be possible, that would be _brilliant!_
