Twilight of the North Teaser Trailer

So last week I created a brand new campaign to experience "from scratch" post-Reforge campaign creation, and use an existing setting (Tolkien's Middle-earth) so I could focus on grasping the Fate Core system. I intend to run it entirely as a play-by-post game here on Obsidian Portal (with the exception of the EvilDM dice roller - until/unless OP introduces one), hopefully starting sometime in January after the holidays.

However, I mostly wanted to show off the teaser trailer I created today - of which I am exceedingly proud. Located on the front page: "Twilight of the North":https://twilight-of-the-north.obsidianportal.com/

This isn't a classified/recruitment thread (yet), but maybe I can drum up some preliminary player interest, and hopefully coast on any Tolkien excitement created by the release of "The Desolation of Smaug" in theaters.

It truly isn't much more than a teaser at this point. I'm hoping to stay true to Fate Core's model of the players and GM cooperatively creating the plot's central themes and conflicts, with the established setting providing background material and inspiration.

Looks and sounds fantastic. The whole site looks pretty cool and I always thought a really good section of the Tolkien mythos in which to conduct an RPG - plenty of history and not too much detailed in the main novels. I look forward to more.....
